Background
REHDA Institute is the incarnation of REHDA Malaysia’s long-running vision to promote and instill higher standards amongst property developers in order to bring the housing and real estate industry to a new level of maturity and greater global competitiveness.
For decades, REHDA Malaysia played a significant role in promoting and stimulating advancements in land and property development in the country through various means. Prior to the founding of REHDA Institute, trainings and education was one of its many key portfolios to that end.
As the nation strives forward towards achieving the status of a developed nation amidst a time of unprecedented shifts in the global economy, the need to train up high calibre industry players and bridge the knowledge gap has become more pressing.
Under these circumstances was HDA Foundation, the educational and training arm of the REHDA Malaysia, relaunched as REHDA Institute on 12 July 2004 by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi. REHDA Institute was relaunched to specifically address and attend to the training and education needs of the industry.
Today, REHDA Institute strives to provide pertinent educational and training initiatives to all stakeholders.
